Public Realm Works, Truro
This ambitious urban enhancement project aimed to create a new focal piazza for Truro and formed a key element of the enabling development for the major Lemon Quay retail scheme. The project included the construction of a new copper roofed coach station and public toilets, the replacement of the main bridge structure across the existing quays and the complete redesign of the city centre traffic flows. The scheme has provided a large public open space for dining, markets and exhibitions and has added a unique and important character to this vibrant city centre.
