Natwest Media Centre, Lord's Cricket Ground, London
The RIBA Stirling Prize winning Natwest Media Centre has attracted enormous interest in both the national and architectural press and has been widely praised for its extraordinary technical achievements inherent in the futuristic design and innovative aluminium semi-monocoque construction. WWA Project Managed the build on behalf of Pendennis Super Yachts, including the logistical exercise of transporting 26 aluminium building modules from Falmouth to central London, their subsequent erection at site, the co-ordination of the construction with the MCC’s cricketing programme to ensure completion for the World Cup and the management of the building services/fit-out packages. The Media Centre is truly an iconic building, deserving of the many awards that it received and one that we are justifiably proud to include in our portfolio.
