Burrell Theatre, Truro School
The Burrell Theatre complex at Truro School provides a multifunction auditorium for theatre, concerts or assembly space. In addition to the auditorium the complex includes four humanities classrooms, two lecture spaces and a gallery space as well as an instrument/scenery store. Externally, the entrance courtyard to the theatre is enhanced by a unique light sculpture installation. The Burrell Theatre complex was formally opened by the internationally renowned lyricist Sir Tim Rice and it received a Special Commendation in the Cornwall Buildings Group annual awards.
